This is not something you smoke while you wait for a carp run!

We have quite a large infestation of this non-native plant on the dam wall at Readers. Looks quite nice during late spring and summer but it prevents the growth of grass in all the surrounding area and this means that in any heavy rain our dam wall is prone to losing soil and becoming weaker. With this in mind we will be spraying the affected areas in the closed season and hoping the grass will eventually replace it.
