Gabriels Fishery, Marsh Green
Important Note
The Society has a limited annual licence for its members to fish Gabriels without charge. This commences on 16 June 2026. The fishery rules take precedence over the Society rules, with the exception of Society Rule 19 which pertains to Gabriels. Members should visit the Gabriels Fishery website and make sure they are familiar with both the fishery rules and Society Rule 19. Failure to observe the these rules, and the information following, may result in members being required to leave the fishery and may be reported to the Society.

Our agreement
Society members can fish fish a single rod at Hare, Silver, Swallow Lakes and the River Eden between 7am and fishery closing time seven days a week at no charge.
Oak Lake can be fished on a single rod between
7am and fishery closing time Monday to Thursday only, and from 7am to 2pm on
Fridays.
Members wishing to fish two rods must pay the Gabriels published price for the second rod.
Admirals Lake, the speciman lake, is excluded from the Society’s licence. Excluded means members will have to pay in full. Members wishing to fish Admirals need to contact Gabriels in advance.
1.Members must be in possession of an valid EA licence, their Society membership card AND an acceptable form of photo ID
2.Junior members under 16 years must be accompanied by a person aged at least 21 years. If that person is not a Society member and not fishing, a guest charge of £5 is payable. Proof of age may be asked for.
3.The Society concession allowing adult members to take a child under 12 years of age fishing with them free of charge (Rule 8.4) does not apply at Gabriels.
4.Holders of Joint membership are limited to free payment for one member only. The second joint member will pay Gabriels standard charge.
5. Unhooking mats are a mandatory requirement.
